- January 23, 2017 at 8 pm at the Cinéma Les Scala in Geneva in the presence of Arantxa Aguirre.
- January 24, 2017 at 8 pm at the Cinéma Capitole in Lausanne in the presence of Arantxa Aguirre, Gil Roman and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
In collaboration with the Tokyo Ballet and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Israel directed by Zubin Mehta, Gil Roman staged in 2014 with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, one of the most breathtaking dance works of the 20th century: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, choreographed by Maurice Béjart.
The film dancing Beethoven depicts, with fascinating images, nine months of intensive and exciting rehearsals, from the beginning of the choreographic work on this masterpiece until the first performance at the NHK Hall of Tokyo on November 8, 2014. Immerse yourself in the daily work of 250 artists, dancers, singers and musicians from around the world, gathered around a common work celebrating human brotherhood.
