Carme Andres

Carme started her dance training in the Conservatory of Riba-roja in Turia, Valencia. A graduate from the Accademia de Teatro alla Scala Milan in 2006, she joined the Cannes Jeune Ballet in 2007, and later the Rome Opera in 2009 under the direction of Carla Fracci. In August 2009, she danced with the Ballets de Monte Carlo.


She then became company member of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 2013, where she danced the repertoire of Maurice Béjart (The Ninth Symphony, The Magic Flute, Ballet for Life, Heliogabale in Béjart fête Maurice, Un cygne d’autrefois se souvient que c’est lui, Brel et Barbara, Wien, Wien, nur du Allein, Symphonie pour un homme seul). She also took part in the creation of Gil Roman’s Tombées de la dernière pluie, Impromptu… and t ‘M et variations…. In 2017, she participated in the creation of Dixit, a piece written and directed by Marc Hollogne with choreographies by Maurice Béjart and Gil Roman. She also danced in Julio Arozarena’s Éclats.
