A choreography which requires a great technical mastery.<\/p>\n<p><em>Syncope<\/em>, by Gil Roman, which was acclaimed across the world, was back after its last representation in 2015 in Stuttgart, Germany. A loss of consciousness during which the brain can just imagine, invent or review without limit.<\/p>\n<p>Under the title <em>Un cygne d\u2019autrefois se souvient que c\u2019est lui<\/em> (from a poem by St\u00e9phane Mallarm\u00e9), Maurice B\u00e9jart created this solo 25 years ago for Gil Roman. This ballet, on Richard Wagner\u2019s music was transmitted to Julien Favreau and Jiayong Sun.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne presented\u00a0<em>\u7a7aKu<\/em>, by the guest choreographer Yuka Oishi. A ballet inspired by the Japanese culture, creation full of emotions.<\/p>\n<p>In numbers: 6 shows, 4 choreographers, 40 dancers, 112 costumes, 28 accessories, 10 dressers, 34 technicians&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>On June 30 and July 1, the Rudra B\u00e9jart School celebrated its 25 anniversary at Beaulieu Theatre.<\/strong> To open this show, the B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne presented two ballets of Maurice B\u00e9jart: <em>Altenberg Lieder<\/em>, <em>La Luna<\/em> performed for the first time by Elisabet Ros, as well as two choreographies by Gil Roman, <em>Couleur Blues<\/em> and <em>5 Dances for John Zorn<\/em> &#8211; a creation in progress.<\/p>\n<p>To close the first part, Gil Roman surprised the audience with a solo specially choreographed for him by Yuka Oishi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From June 22 to 28, the B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne performed during six dates at the Beaulieu Theatre, presenting a rich program : 4 ballets of 4 choreographers.
