After kicking off the new season at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens in front of an audience <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/bbl-in-athens\/\">of nearly 9,000 people<\/a>, the company performed in Bucharest (Romania), Tallinn (Estonia) and Kaunas (Lithuania), and is now back from Paris with yet another resounding performance.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Four representations of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/maurice-bejart\/\">Maurice B\u00e9jart<\/a>&#8216;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/ballet-for-life\/\">Ballet for Life<\/a><\/em>* were acclaimed by more than 8,000 spectators at the Palais des Sports before the company took to the Royal Opera House in Versailles. There, they danced a second program in front of sold-out crowds which warmly received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/tous-les-hommes\/\"><em>Tous les hommes presque toujours s&#8217;imaginent<\/em><\/a>, a creation by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/gil-roman\/\">Gil Roman<\/a> set to the music of the American composer John Zorn (world premiered at the Lausanne Opera last April) preceded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/brel-et-barbara\/\"><em>Brel et Barbara<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bolero\/\"><em>Bol\u00e9ro<\/em><\/a> by Maurice B\u00e9jart. Throwback with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tv78.com\/yvelines-bejart-ballet-lausanne-presente-sa-derniere-creation-versailles\/\">TV78<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Yvelines | Le B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne pr\u00e9sente sa derni\u00e8re cr\u00e9ation \u00e0 Versailles\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rVYqkFNY_UM\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company is now back in Lausanne for a few days of intensive work on the choreographic pieces that make up its 2019-2020 season. It will return to the B\u00e2timent des Forces Motrices in Geneva on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/spectacle\/t-m-et-variations-bejart-fete-maurice-bolero-geneva\/\"> November 19<\/a> to present Gil Roman&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/t-m-et-variations\/\"><em>t &#8216;M et variations&#8230;<\/em><\/a> and <em>Bol\u00e9ro<\/em> &#8211; these two ballets will be danced in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondation-sanfilippo.ch\/index_en.html\">Sanfilippo Foundation Switzerland<\/a>. The company will then head to the 2019 International Dance Festival in Cannes from November 29 to 30, where it will present <em>Tous les hommes presque toujours s&#8217;imaginent<\/em> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bejart-fete-maurice\/\"><em>B\u00e9jart f\u00eate Maurice<\/em><\/a>.
