New exclusive content on Bejart.tv<\/span><\/p>\n

Last March, B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne launched bejart.tv<\/a>, its on-demand video platform. The ballet company invites its audience to watch archival videos, documentaries and “At a Glance”\u00ad content\u2013 featuring excerpts from the company’s repertoire. Viewers can discover the universe that has characterized BBL for more than 30 years, as well as its wide scope of expression and choreographic explorations led by Gil Roman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since the launch of bejart.tv<\/a>, new videos have been added to the catalog, including an interview of Maurice B\u00e9jart<\/a>, a feature on a piece or a choreographic work:<\/p>\n

Maurice B\u00e9jart \u2013 Prospectives<\/em><\/span>: The weekly American TV show “Camera Three” met Maurice B\u00e9jart in 1971 and looked into his career, influences and choreographic style.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Basso Continuum \u2013 M\u00e9moire de cr\u00e9ation<\/em><\/span>: L\u00e9on Orlandi, a Lausanne-based filmmaker, was given full access to the backstage of Basso Continuum<\/a><\/em>, a new choreographic piece by Gil Roman that will be premiered on the stage of the Lausanne Opera in October 2020.<\/p>\n

Vivaldi \u00e0 deux<\/em><\/span>, an excerpt from the ballet Casino des Esprits<\/em><\/a>: this piece was commissioned by Maurice B\u00e9jart to Gil Roman for the company’s 50th<\/sup> anniversary. It is dedicated to the city of Venice and set to the music of Antonio Vivaldi. The excerpt was filmed in the BBL studios last December.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sento in Seno<\/em><\/span>: the choreographic work was directed by Antoine le Moal<\/a>, performed by Kwinten Guilliams<\/a> and filmed by Wictor Hugo Pedroso<\/a>, three dancers of the BBL. The solo is set to the music of Vivaldi.<\/p>\n

The BBL regularly updates the platform with new content, including stories, unreleased archival videos and backstage footage that are available through an annual subscription. Four documentaries can also be rented individually.<\/p>\n
