The open-air summer tour of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/ballet-for-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Ballet for Life<\/em><\/a> was a huge success! Close to 9&#8217;500 spectators enjoyed the four performances given by the Lausanne-based company directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/gil-roman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gil Roman<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tour began in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.festivaldecarcassonne.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carcassonne<\/a> on July 12, then continued on to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.festivalperalada.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peralada<\/a> in Spain for two sold-out performances, ending last night at the Roman Theatre of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.choregies.fr\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orange<\/a> in front of more than 5\u2019000 people. This last show marks the end of the BBL&#8217;s season 2020-2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The next season will start on August 23rd. The company&#8217;s first performances will be held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opera-lausanne.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Op\u00e9ra de Lausanne<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/opl.shop.secutix.com\/selection\/event\/date?productId=101688803644\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">September 17, 18 and 19<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/spectacle\/bbl-meets-pierre-henry-opera-lausanne2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>BBL meets Pierre Henry<\/em><\/a>), and then in Japan for a double program, from October 9 to 17 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/tous-les-hommes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Tous les hommes presque toujours s\u2019imaginent <\/em><\/a>by Gil Roman,<em> Sonate n\u00b05, La porte, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bolero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bol\u00e9ro<\/a> <\/em>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/ballet-for-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Ballet for Life<\/em><\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/maurice-bejart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maurice B\u00e9jart<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The summer was bright for the BBL The B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne kept up its summer schedule despite the current health situation and received a very warm welcome from its public.
