They wrapped up the season last night at the Roman Amphitheatre in Martigny and will return from their break on September 19 in Timi\u0219oara then on September 30 in M\u00e9zi\u00e8res&#8230;<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 22-23 season kicked off on September 14, 2022 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teatroregio.torino.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teatro Regio<\/a> in Turin and ended last night in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gianadda.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martigny<\/a>, after the company&#8217;s second performance in the Roman Amphitheater that L\u00e9onard Gianadda loved so much. The program included <em>Alors on danse&#8230; !<\/em> choreographed by the company&#8217;s Artistic Director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/gil-roman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gil Roman<\/a>, <em>The Firebird<\/em> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/maurice-bejart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maurice B\u00e9jart<\/a>&#8216;s <em>Bolero<\/em>: three of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/repertoire\/current-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">12 ballets<\/a> performed this season by the BBL&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/company\/dancers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">39 dancers<\/a> in front of 66,350 people in 20 cities across 5 countries!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s 36th season featured ballets from Maurice B\u00e9jart&#8217;s repertoire (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/7-danses-grecques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7 danses grecques<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/quatre-preludes-pour-violoncelle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quatre pr\u00e9ludes pour violoncelle<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/liebe-und-tod\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liebe und Tod<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bhakti-iii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bhakti III<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/loiseau-de-feu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Firebird<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/ballet-for-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ballet for Life<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bolero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bolero<\/a><\/em>) and Gil Roman&#8217;s (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/tous-les-hommes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tous les hommes presque toujours s&#8217;imaginent<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/alors-on-danse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alors on danse&#8230; !<\/a><\/em> ). This season&#8217;s highlights include the &#8220;premiere&#8221; of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/wien-wien-nur-du-allein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Wien, Wien, nur du Allein<\/em><\/a> by Maurice B\u00e9jart last December at the Beaulieu Theater in Lausanne, a ballet created in 1982 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels (the BBL had never danced the full version), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/the-other-song-of-dance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The other song of dance<\/em><\/a>, a piece presented last June at <a href=\"https:\/\/beaulieu-lausanne.com\/en\/theatre-de-beaulieu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beaulieu<\/a> by the Japanese choreographer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/guest\/guest-choreographers\/yuka-oishi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yuka Oishi<\/a>, inspired by her reading of Maurice B\u00e9jart&#8217;s book of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The B\u00e9jart Ballet Lausanne will return to its studios on August 14. The first performance of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2023-2024 season<\/a> is scheduled for September 19 in Timi\u0219oara, followed by a carte blanche at Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Jorat in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/spectacle\/carte-blanche-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e9zi\u00e8res<\/a> on September 30 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/basso-continuum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Basso Continuum<\/em><\/a> by Gil Roman, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/ballet\/bye-bye-baby-blackbird\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Bye bye baby blackbird<\/em><\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bejart.ch\/en\/guest\/guest-choreographers\/joost-vrouenraets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joost Vrouenraets<\/a> and <em>The Firebird<\/em> by Maurice B\u00e9jart).
