Born in Madrid, Josué received his training at the Víctor Ullate School, studying with teachers such as Víctor Ullate, María Fernández, and Menia Martínez, among others. In 2008, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the National School of Cuba, where his teachers included Giselle Dejá and Mirta Hermida.

In 2010, he joined the Víctor Ullate Ballet Company, performing leading roles in productions such as Coppélia, El Amor Brujo, Carmen, Canciones de un compañero errante, Bolero de Ravel, Samsara, and Jaleos.

In 2014, he received the Positano “Léonide Massine” Prize as Best Emerging Dancer in Contemporary Dance.

In 2021, he became a soloist with the Tanzcompany Innsbruck under the direction of Enrique Gasa Valga, performing numerous solo roles in ballets such as Romy Schneider, Terra Baixa, María de Buenos Aires, and Lorca—a piece created especially for him. He also appeared in works such as Saraband (Jiří Kylián) and Gnawa (Nacho Duato).

In 2022, he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza as a soloist under Joaquín de Luz, dancing principal roles in White Darkness and Morguen (Nacho Duato), Giselle and Passengers (Joaquín de Luz), Cantata (Mauro Bigonzetti), and Carmen (Johan Inger), before joining the Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 2025.
