Béjart Ballet Lausanne in Rolle – Where heritage meets creation in three ballets across two exceptional evenings.

From April 14 to 15, 2026, the company will perform at the Rosey Concert Hall, within the Paul & Henri Carnal Hall in Rolle, for two unforgettable evenings. Three ballets in dialogue between heritage and creation, collective power and intimate intensity.

The evening will open with a new ballet by Andonis Foniadakis, guest choreographer invited by Julien Favreau. Performed by 15 dancers to a soundtrack by Depeche Mode, this piece pays tribute to the timeless beauty of pointe work through a resolutely contemporary approach, blending strength, precision, and sensitivity.

It will continue with Béjart et nous, a dazzling journey through the choreographic repertoire of Maurice Béjart. Conceived by Julien Favreau, this thoughtful piece brings together pas de deux, solos and reimagined group sequences. A deep dive into the eclectic and abundant work of the choreographer, brought to life by today’s performers.

The evening will conclude with the majestic Boléro, created by Maurice Béjart in 1961 to the hypnotic music of Maurice Ravel. The central role – the Melody – is performed either by a female or male dancer, while the Rhythm is embodied by a group of dancers. A fascinating crescendo, a collective trance, a work that transcends time.
