Born in Ankara, Turkey, Efe began his classical dance training in 2009 with the Children’s Ballet of the Ankara State Opera and Ballet, where he performed as a young dancer until 2011. He then continued his studies in the Classical Dance Department of the Ankara State Conservatory at Hacettepe University, graduating with highest honors in 2021.
During his training years, Efe distinguished himself in numerous international competitions, earning several first prizes, including gold medals at the 5th Orleu International Ballet Schools Competition (Kazakhstan, 2016) and the 2nd Caspi Art International Music and Dance Competition (2018). He later received silver medals at the Città di Spoleto International Dance Competition (Italy, 2019) and the Tanzolymp International Dance Festival (Berlin, 2020), as well as a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Kyiv International Ballet Festival (Ukraine, 2021).
From 2019 to 2024, Efe was a principal dancer with the State Ballet of Georgia, performing leading roles in a wide range of classical and contemporary works, including Don Quixote (Basil), Swan Lake (Siegfried), La Sylphide (James), La Bayadère (Solor), The Sleeping Beauty (Desire), Romeo and Juliet (Romeo, Mercutio), Giselle (Hilarion), and Othello (Iago).
Throughout his career, he has danced works by Ilya Jivoy, George Balanchine, Jiří Kylián, Jorma Elo, Medhi Walerski, and Yuri Possokhov.
Efe has also participated in the Origen Festival Cultural in Switzerland and the Nuit des Grandes Étoiles Gala in Athens.
In 2025, Efe joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
