 Founded in 1987 by Maurice Béjart, Béjart Ballet Lausanne stands as an international reference in the world of dance and choreography.

Based in Lausanne, the BBL Foundation, an autonomous structure subsidised by the City of Lausanne, brings together a team of approximately 70 people. Each year, our 40 dancers perform on the greatest international stages, contributing to the worldwide reputation of our institution. A remarkable performance to which motivated technical and administrative teams actively contribute.

We are looking for

Human Resources Manager – 60%

The position reports directly to the Management

 

Your responsibilities

  • Define and implement BBL’s HR policy, in consultation with Management
  • Develop and oversee the various HR processes
  • Ensure compliance with labour law
  • Provide advice and support to managers and staff on all HR-related matters
  • Promote a framework conducive to staff health and well-being
  • Support HR situations, potentially complex or sensitive
  • Optimise the current working time management system and its applicability in accordance with internal regulations and the law
  • Monitor absences
  • Manage internal communication related to HR matters

Ideal profile sought

  • A university degree in Human Sciences with an HR component or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 8 years of proven professional experience in a Head of HR role, preferably in an environment close to the artistic world
  • Very good command of HR processes, as well as confirmed experience in their implementation. Good knowledge of labour law and social security
  • Strong listening skills with high emotional intelligence, enabling a fine analysis of complex situations and the natural delivery of sensitive messages with tact
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while adopting a global vision and the ability to take initiative
  • Expertise in change management, leadership of HR projects and strong writing skills in drafting documents
  • Native French speaker with proficiency in English (reading, spoken and written)
