Between heritage and creation, an exceptional evening in Istanbul

From February 20 to 22, 2026, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne will be at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center in Istanbul with a program bringing together three unique ballets, where heritage and creation will converse for a vibrant and unforgettable evening.

The evening will open with a new creation by the Italian duo Riva&Repele, invited by Julien Favreau, who carries a vision aimed at bringing new dynamism and freshness through new creations, while remaining faithful to the heritage of Maurice Béjart and the spirit of the company. A creation that will bring to the stage a breath of novelty, combining audacity and sensitivity.

It will continue with the masterpiece The Firebird, choreographed to the fiery music of Igor Stravinsky. Carried by a spirit of freedom and rebirth, this piece embodies the power of transformation and hope

The evening will conclude with the unmissable Boléro, choreographed to the hypnotic score by Maurice Ravel. Between collective trance and fascinating crescendo, this mythical ballet remains one of the most universal and emblematic works of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne’s repertoire.
