Gil Roman and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne have been deprived of a stage for months, so they were thrilled to invite their Cercle des Amis to inaugurate Plan_B! Conceived by the Artistic Director, Plan_B is

____a space built for choreographic encounters and

____experiments

____in the heart of the company’s studio.

During this event, the Company presented four excerpts in rehearsal conditions from Wien, Wien, nur Du allein by Maurice Béjart. To celebrate this inauguration, Gil Roman presented an exclusive preview of his new creation Basso Continuum, which he set to Richard Dubugnon’s compositions. This piece will premiere at the Lausanne Opera from October 2 to 11, 2020.

Gil Roman will present a series of events for the general audience, schools, companies and institutions until December. These events will highlight the daily work of the dancers.

The BBL remains mindful of public health considerations and will limit admission to half of the space’s capacity by blocking one seat out of two. Additional protective measures include the mandatory use of a mask to enter the building and for the entire duration of the presentations, as well as the availability of hydroalcoholic gel on the premises. Plan_B will also be ventilated between presentations.
