Julio Arozarena
Born in Havana, Cuba, on October 23rd 1965, he began his dance training in 1975 at the National Arts School Cuba, where he obtained both a diploma as dancer and dance teacher in 1983.
Tony Fabre
Born in Nantes, France, Tony Fabre began to study ballet with the Conservatoire National. He trained in dance both in Brussels and Liège, Belgium. In 1981, he joined the Karlsruhe Ballet under Germinal Casado’s direction where he stayed until 1983. Then, he became soloist with Maurice Béjart’s Ballet du XXème Siècle.
Christophe Garcia
An experienced dancer, trained in theatre, singing and music, Christophe Garcia rapidly converted to choreography. In 1996, he was accepted at the Rudra Béjart School Lausanne and joined Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 1998.
Sthan Kabar-Louët
Originally from New Caledonia, Sthan Kabar Louët was a laureate in 1997 for the 1st Encouragement Prize – dance category - in the South Province of New Caledonia. In 1998, he joined the Rudra Béjart School Lausanne and a year later the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
Alonzo King
Alonzo King is considered to be a visionary choreographer that has shaken our idea of ballet in general. Alonzo King’s works are part of the Royal Swedish Ballet, the Ballets des Monte Carlo, Frankfurt Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Hong Kong Ballet, NDCT and the Washington Ballet’s repertoire.
Giorgio Madia
Giorgio Madia was in 1965 in Milan. A graduate of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Giorgio Madia began his career as ballet dancer with the company of La Scala.
Yuka Oishi
Yuka Oishi was born in 1984 in Osaka, Japan. In 2002, she joins the John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet and become eight years later the first Japanese soloist.
Joost Vrouenraets
Joost Vrouenraets studied at the Amsterdam School of the Arts, then the Rudra Béjart School Lausanne, before joining Maurice Béjart’s Compagnie M, and later the Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 2004.
Valentina Turcu
Born in Croatia, Valentina Turcu studied at the Ecole-atelier Rudra Béjart Lausanne before joining the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, under the direction of the company’s founder, Maurice Béjart.
