Béjart Ballet Lausanne dances in your home

All activities of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne have been on hold since March 16th to prevent the coronavirus epidemic from spreading. The company would like to invite itself virtually into your living rooms and dance for you for a month: starting on Thursday March 26th, the footage of the company’s performances will be featured every week on the front page of bejart.ch.

From Friday, April 10 to Monday, April 13, 2020, Syncope by Gil Roman will be available for free online viewing.

“Where were we when we were not there?
In music, it is a rhythm out of time. We are talking about syncopated music.
In medical terms, it is a stoppage or slowing of the heart. Five to ten seconds of loss of consciousness during which the brain can just imagine, invent or review without limit.
Memories or imagination?
Memory or creation?“

– Gil Roman

In these trying times for everyone, Béjart Ballet Lausanne would like to express its most sincere appreciation to the public for their loyalty and to its partners and patrons for their unfailing support.
