Denovane began dancing ballet with Rudy Bryans and modern jazz with Anne-Marie Porras at Epsedance in Montpellier. In 2009, he joined the Rudra Béjart School Lausanne and became company member with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 2011.
He danced different roles from the company’s repertoire such as Ballet for Life, The Magic Flute, Nutcracker and Wien, Wien, nur du Allein by Maurice Béjart. He also took part in Gil Roman’s creation (t ‘M et variations…, Tous les hommes presque toujours s’imaginent and Basso Continuum) and danced in Syncope.
Denovane also took part in the works of Tony Fabre’s Empreintes, Julio Arozarena’s Fais ce que tu veux avec ces ailes and Corps-Circuit, Yuka Oishi’s 空Ku. In 2017, he participated in the creation of Dixit, a piece written and directed by Marc Hollogne with choreographies by Maurice Béjart and Gil Roman.
