Elisabet began her dance studies with Pastora Martos before entering the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. In 1987, she joined the Royal Ballet of Wallonia under the direction of Jorge Lefebre. In 1991, she became a principal dancer with the Zaragoza Ballet under the direction of Mauro Galindo. She joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 1997, where she danced Boléro.
Maurice Béjart created important roles for her, notably in Nutcracker and Zarathoustra, le chant de la danse, as well as in Brel et Barbara, for which she received the Danza & Danza Award for Best Performance in 2005. She also dance leading roles in landmark ballets such as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Serait-ce la mort ?, Gaîté parisienne, Wien, Wien, nur du Allein, L’Amour – la Danse, Ballet for Life, The Ninth Symphony, Sonate n°5, Adage pour deux, Étude pour une dame aux camélias and Mallarmé III.
She contributed in numerous creations by Gil Roman, including Casino des Esprits, Aria, Syncope, Anima Blues, Tombées de la dernière pluie, Impromptu…, t’M et variations… and Tous les hommes presque toujours s’imaginent. In 2017, she took part in the creation of Dixit, written and directed by Marc Hollogne, with choreography by Maurice Béjart and Gil Roman.
Since 2019, Elisabet has also served as assistant to the artistic direction of the BBL, and continues to take part in several creations such as Histoire D’Eux by Tony Fabre, The other song of dance by Yuka Oishi and OSKAR by Riva&Repele.
